Birthday 2008

I had a great birthday and got some nice stuff for my new apartment. A very nice pillow that will fit my red sofa, that I've seen at ILVA. I got some very beautiful roses and in the evening, for dinner, we had SHRIMPS!

Apartment hunting

I have just returned from England. I spent 2 days hunting for an apartment in and around Canterbury. It was quite a daunting task and I looked at 13 different apartments. Friday was a rainy day and the agent and I drove around to Deal, Sandwich, up to Ramsgate, and the back to Canterbury. There were a few nice ones, but none that I really liked. On Saturday we walked around in Canterbury and I found a very nice apartment. It's outside the city center, but only about 0 min walk from it. It has 2 bedrooms, a small ktichen, and a very nice living room.

I also drove for the first time on the left hand side and it went well. Only a few detours when trying to figure out the round about system.

Easter 2008

This year we had a really nice Easter. Although the weather was more like Christmas, wemanaged to do our traditional "Konstrunda". We went up to Kivik and went to an art galleryshowing pictures of rubarb. The photographers name is Bjorn Hansson. After that we drove down the coast to Backakra. There mom bought a very nice painting. After this little excursion we spent most time at home, having nice dinners and enjoyed ourself.

Canterbury December 2007

A short visit to Canterbury in December. I went to the cathedral and it was very beatuful and interesting. There was the tomb of the Black Prince and the site where the Shrine of St Thomas stood.

Holiday in California 2007

In August/September I had a wonderful holiday in California visiting friends in San Diego and Pasadena. In San Diego Xiaoying ad I spent a day along the coast, walking around in Del Mar and having a great lunch at Roberto's.

Then I went up to visit Jennifer, Fraser, and Ewan in Pasadena for a few days. We went to Lucky Baldwin's and had a nice dinner. Ewan really liked my peas.

Last week it was really cold, but it still rained. This created an ice cover on trees and bushes. it was really beautiful.
